What services do you offer/Needs that you meet for your clients?
Community members can access titles in accessible formats, computers, wifi, and many popular community events such as weekly story times, Tech Table Tuesdays, Words on Wheels home delivery service, the Adult Learning Center for GED prep classes, learning English, learning to read and citizenship classes for adults, Comic Con (September), and Culture Fest (November). There are 8 locations in Mesa County plus the 970West Studio for patrons to access recording studios, software to edit creative projects, and educational classes.
What is one thing that most people don’t know about the library?
You don’t have to pay audible.com! Instead, use your library card to access Libby and hoopla apps for eBooks, audiobooks, eMagazines, eComics and eMusic. And Kanopy has indie films and documentaries.

Best part of being part of our community?
We love offering new opportunities to the community and doing so alongside partners who can match our creativity and innovation. An example of this is the partnership with Mesa County which is opening a new community campus in Clifton that includes the new Clifton Library (3270 D 1/2 Road). Another example is having Grand Valley Connects staff working out of the Central Library to help people get needed community human services resources. They help fill out applications, make appointments, and know who to call!
