What services do you offer/Needs that you meet for your clients?

The Business Incubator Center hosts 7 programs that serve as key resources for small businesses in the Grand Valley.

The Incubator Intensive Program is a five-year, tenant-based program designed to help guide businesses through the most critical periods. This program includes business mentoring and 35,000 square feet of mixed-use space available for lease.

The Kitchen Incubator Program is a 2,500 square foot commercial, shared-use kitchen available for businesses in the food industry from caterers to food trucks to food manufacturers.

Mesa County Loan Fund Program provides loans up to $300,000 for Mesa County businesses. It is designed to assist eligible businesses who cannot find the capital they need through traditional sources.

The Mesa County Enterprise Zone provides tax incentives to encourage businesses to locate and expand in designated areas of the state. The purpose is to promote a business-friendly environment in economically distressed areas.

FWorks is a coworking space in downtown Fruita that has high-speed internet, lounge area, and a conference room.

GJMakerspace is a public innovation center offering tools, knowledge, and learning resources for members.

The Colorado Small Business Development Center offers free business coaching with industry experts and low/no-cost workshops and classes.

What are the ways businesses or individuals can partner with you in 2023?

There are many ways to partner with The Business Incubator Center. Businesses and individuals can partner by participating in our programs, donating their services, mentoring businesses within their industry, becoming a volunteer consultant, sharing their expertise through classes and workshops, assisting in expanding our programs, developing new ideas to accelerate our program offerings, and through charitable contributions.

What would you say is the spirit animal of the company?

The Eagle is the spirit animal of The Business Incubator Center. Eagles are inspirational and they represent courage, wisdom, leadership, exploration, growth, and development.

The Business Incubator Center is proud to be a part of a growing innovative community full of vibrant young businesses. We are privileged to be able to connect with entrepreneurs that have big dreams and big energy, and to watch their plans come to fruition.
