Layton joined our team at the end of his senior year in high school; he is now a Sophomore at CMU.
We caught up with Layton for a quick refresh after he finished his freshman year and spent the summer in Spain.

What was your favorite part of studying abroad in Spain this past summer?
Visiting various historical sites such as La Mezquita-Catedral and La Alhambra.
What app do you use most on your cell phone?
I use Google the most; I’m a curious person!
One thing you dislike about technology?
Sometimes they just don’t work the way you want it to.
What is your proudest moment at CommWest?
It is hard to say. One of my proudest moments at CommWest is when I helped with damage mitigation when a customer had several accounts hacked. Cybersecurity is a focus of mine in the future, so I am always happy to get involved in security situations.
What is the biggest difference between Freshman and Sophomore year at CMU?
I had several gen-ed credits completed already, so the biggest difference for me is the level of classes. More is expected of you in second year/200 level courses, which I will be learning to balance with my time here at CommWest.
