Steven joined CommWest in October 2021, working as our Customer Service and Operations.
We know things are constantly changing in technology. Similarly, Steven’s position has developed over the years; he is now our Service Manager. We caught up with Steven for a quick refresh!

What is the biggest change that technology has made in your life?
Communications! My family lives in Georgia and I haven’t lived there in over 20 years. Technology has made it possible to maintain contact no matter where I’m located at.
What app do you use most on your cell phone?
A news application. As Denzel Washington once said, “If you don’t read the news, you’re uninformed. If you do, you’re probably misinformed.” Next would be the Google Authenticator App.
One thing you dislike about technology?
It’s dangerous if you’re not cautious. It creates countless vulnerabilities. Just because it’s shiny and new doesn’t mean it’s a good idea.
What is your proudest moment at CommWest?
Getting hired. The position was offered to my wife first, but she just accepted another job. This was also my first legitimate interview as a civilian since my wife and I exited the Military together. Thankfully, our resumes were similar, and I was prepped!
What is your favorite flavor of pie?
My wife’s pecan pie or sweet tater’. Can’t decide.
