When you own outdated printers, they will likely experience downtime and need repairs. If these repairs require replacement parts, you may have difficulty obtaining them. Your vendor may be able to find them, but there is no guarantee. Manufacturers typically stop selling a part 7 years after they stop production of a printer model, making repairs costly and difficult. When you upgrade your printers, you won’t need repairs as often. But when you do need to replace a part, it will be a much simpler and less costly task.
